Are you thinking what I’m thinking? Where in the world did this past week go? In fact, where do they all go? They come and go so fast, and before ya know it we’ll be 80 years old in our rockers, reminiscing about the prime of our youth… sipping on lemonade of course.
So, no more idle chit-chat, that’s for sure. We’ve got things to do, and daylight to burn. I’m going to jump right on in and deliver my top 2 favorite movie quotes. Not of ALL time, mind you, but they are two phenomenal quotes that just come to me without so much as a blink of an eye when I’m in need of conjuring up a good movie quote. Happens alot to you, doesn’t it?
Does to me.
Tread lightly, read deeply, see fully… and you’ll be blown away… OK, probably not, but it’s worth a try. So go on then…read them, and let me know what you think.
1) Ferris: Not that I condone fascism, or any -ism for that matter. -Ism’s in my opinion are not good. A person should not believe in an -ism, he should believe in himself. I quote John Lennon, “I don’t believe in Beatles, I just believe in me.” Good point there. After all, he was the walrus. I could be the walrus. I’d still have to bum rides off people. [Ferris Bueller’s Day Off – 1986]
2) Kay: A person is smart. People are dumb, panicky dangerous animals and you know it. 1500 years ago everybody knew the Earth was the center of the universe. Five hundred years ago, everybody knew the Earth was flat, and fifteen minutes ago, you knew that humans were alone on this planet. Imagine what you’ll know tomorrow. [Men In Black – 1997]
